You bought a whole fish, you filleted it yourself, and now there is a row of pin bones running down the middle of each fillet. Pulling them with your fingers is a losing game. Run a finger along the flesh, find the tip, grip, pull in the direction the bone points.

These will not perform miracles. When you spot a bone, they will pick it up.

The stray bone in a fillet from the fishmonger, because there is always one
