Half the flavour of a lemon is in the skin and most people throw it away. A box grater takes the white pith with it, and the zest sticks in the holes. Microplane is by far the best zester out there, which is why we carry this brand and no other. The zest collects on the underside, so you pick it up with one finger.

Parmesan in a cloud over pasta
Garlic and ginger into a paste without a board
Nutmeg and cinnamon, grated to order
